    Free DLC for Days Gone, which is out later this week, will be released in June.
    Sony announced today it will release free DLC for Days Gone in June which includes Survival difficulty mode, plus Bike, Horde and Combat challenges.
    The base game will last around the 30+ hour mark, according to Bend Studios , but there are “many more hours” of gameplay to be had. This includes ambush camps, dynamic events, infestation zones, mysterious NERO checkpoints, and open world hordes.

    Days Gone goes live this Friday, April 26, but this won't be a fire-and-forget launch. Free DLC for the Oregon biker post-apocalypse kicks off in June. You'll need an internet connection to get all of it, but it'll include a new difficulty mode, plus weekly Bike, Horde, and Combat challenges.

    The world of Days Gone can be hard enough to survive in, but the game's free post-launch DLC, starting in June, is adding another layer.
    The DLC includes a Survival difficulty mode that not only increases the difficulty settings, but bars fast travel or the use of Survival Vision. This is a special ability that allows Deacon to see items, and potentially enemies in his vicinity.
